There is hope for New Jersey and America

If you believe that we are headed in the wrong direction, read on:

America has been hypnotized by empty words and illusions. If there will ever be a way to return to a prosperous and free America, it will require an electorate that understands how their wealth and freedoms are being wasted. At that point, the majority of voters will demand common sense and America will maximize its utilization of resources again.

There is no simple magic available to open up the eyes of the electorate. It will take work. There are many excellent and valuable individual citizens and organizations that are actively trying to educate the electorate. Everyone who contributes their time or money to these groups helps America.

As we develop this site, we will show you why the new Modern Whig Movement is about to play an important role in helping the electorate to restore a homeland that we will enjoy and the world will admire.

Origin

Although there was a Whig Party in England prior to the Revolutionary War, an unrelated group by the same name emerged later in young America. Many of its members were veterans of the Revolutionary war that put America on the map.

The American Whig Party was most active between 1833 and 1850.  During its existence, it elected four Presidents. A fifth President was a former Whig but he chose to run as a Republican. Perhaps it can be argued that the American Whig Party was the most successful political movement in the history of America because it produced so many prominent officials during its twenty year glory.

Now it is 2009. We have a one-party system. There is a strong need for serious competition, just like 1850. The Modern Whig Movement offers a golden opportunity to compete in this current political climate. It brings us the right initiative at the right time with the right team.

The Party for the Rest of Us

The Modern Whig Party was launched in 2007 by thousands of Iraq and Afghan vets.  Since that launch, the party has grown exponentially. At one point, it collected about 30,000 names. That number is expected to explode again. Some people have said that it is the fastest growing political movement in America.

This is the Party for those who do not like politics as usual. It is the Party for the rest of us.
