The following quote sums up the major problem in a few words.

“We do not have two political parties in this country, America. We have one party; called the Big Government Party. The Republican wing likes deficits, war, and assaults on civil liberties. The Democratic wing likes wealth transfer, taxes, and assaults on commercial liberties. Both parties like power; and neither is interested in your freedoms.”

NJ burdens their citizens with the highest overall taxes in the nation. After the state collects these taxes, they use the revenues to harass citizens and businesses with useless paperwork and regulations. These resources would be better put to use by returning them to the citizens who need them to create jobs and improve living standards.

The major reason for this destruction of our economy and freedoms is a dangerous legislature that is addicted to destroying our wealth. We have a two-party system that focuses on re-election and building political dynasties rather than serving the best interests of those who deserve proper representation.

These attacks on us will never be stopped until we break the legislative deadlock that leads to this destructive paralysis. Our current elected officials have proven that they have no intent on breaking that stronghold. For that reason, the only solution is for voters to reject the status quo and install a brand new legislature.

When we have that new legislature, we must cut taxes, cut regulations, and allow citizens to use those resources to launch new businesses and improve the general economic climate.

This year it is more important than ever to vote for new candidates who have the willingness and capability to motivate the citizen public into forming groups who will pressure the existing legislature to act responsibly. If enough new candidates are elected, NJ might be able to fight its way to survive until the next election.

I have decided to ask the citizens of New Jersey ’s 14 th district to send me to the Assembly so that I can help rip lose the deadlock from these politicians. Their party bickering and special interests will never allow NJ to pass a useful budget with their complicated and meaningless formulas.

The only politically possible way to accomplish this would be to place an across the board capped reduction on the amount of taxes collected and the amount of money spent. Then the legislature will have to be told that they must approve a balanced budget within the restriction of that those capped amounts. With such a measure, there would be no special interests singled out and given another reason to cause more legislative paralysis.

Passing this cap will require an effort to organize citizens into massive lobbying groups that will make it clear to the politicians that their time is up. This citizen driven effort must remind the politicians that they signed an oath. And legislators must be threatened with impeachment if they continue to ignore the interests of the people who elected them.

Finally, as soon as we tame this runaway budget, we will need to modify our election system because it rewards party monopolies and prevents new ideas from being given a chance. Genuine election reform must include the elimination of wasteful primaries, the encouragement of new parties, and term limits to insure fresh ideas. Ultimately, the enactment of these reforms will be the only way to install a legislature that works for us.

This historic revival continues as the first viable federal Whig Party candidates since the 19th Century prepare to field questions from a national audience

Washington, DC (Monday, October 19, 2009) - Spend a few minutes with all three Modern Whig Party Congressional candidates from the comfort of your own home or office. In conjunction with the Florida Whig Party and the newly restored Whig National Committee, a nationwide virtual press conference and question/answer session will occur on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 7-7:30 ET.

This is your opportunity to participate first-hand in the national effort to build a mainstream, non-fringe political movement that places common sense, rational solutions ahead of partisan bickering and ideology.

Americans from across the country have already signed up and are expected to participate. To register for this free event, and to submit questions for the candidates and party leaders, click here.

The latest federal Whig candidates to announce their official candidacy include John Annarumma of Gainesville, FL and Clayton Schock of Broward County, FL.Paul McKain’s Congressional campaign already is making waves in his district, as is our 2009 state candidate, Gene Baldassari, who is running for the New Jersey Assembly. Others fielding questions will include various state leaders, and officials from the Modern Whig Party and the WNC.

According to Ballot Access News, the Modern Whig movement will be the first party outside of the other main two to place at least three candidates on the Florida Congressional ballot. Other mainstream print and AM/FM radio outlets have described the Modern Whig Party as “non-fringe” and “potentially viable.” This achievement is related to the extensive resources and support that continues to gain momentum for this movement that values common sense, rational solutions ahead of partisan bickering and ideology.

About the Whig Party:

Established in 1833, the Whigs are one of America’s oldest mainstream political parties. They were the original party of Abraham Lincoln and four other U.S. Presidents.

Revived by Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, the grassroots movement has quickly attracted tens of thousands of members. They represent moderate voters from all walks of life that cherry-pick between traditional Democratic and Republican ideals in what has been called the Modern Whig Philosophy. This Washington, DC-based national movement values common sense, rational solutions ahead of ideology and partisan bickering.

This includes general principles of fiscal responsibility, strong national defense and educational/scientific advancement.

Florida is the first state in the nation to achieve ballot access for Whig candidates. To date, members and leaders of the national Modern Whig movement have been invited to play a role in GOP and Democratic initiatives while pushing their own common sense, non-fringe agenda of what some have called the fastest growing mainstream political party in the nation.

To review from a previous article, the garbage legislation in Congress that is being pushed as a “Health” care Bill is nothing but a sham. It is a non-solution. It is an attempt to con the public into accepting an illusion that makes them believe that HR 3200 would make quality disease care freely available to everyone.

In actuality, it has nothing to do with “health” and it will not accomplish any of advertised goals.

In return for swallowing this overpriced placebo, Americans will be guaranteed increased taxes, a destruction of good quality disease management, a slap in the face of hard working health personnel who are already doing a good job, a destruction of a market that needs health freedoms to introduce new health technologies, a Constitutional violation, and an increase in tyrannical government abuse on the majority of citizens who do not want participate in this failed approach to “health” care.

It used to be called the natural right to private property ownership. It can be found in Exodus 20:15 which says, “Thou shall not steal”. It is also the basis of the US Constitution, which was originally written to protect the property rights of individual Citizens.

When it comes to their own money, Americans should be allowed the freedom to choose how they spend it.

It is wrong to confiscate hard earned property from Americans who want to use their own money to improve and preserve their own health rather than give it to the government to support an overpriced, rationed, and inefficient disease care system.

Common Sense Health

Instead of throwing around hot air, we should take a rational look at the problem and apply common sense solutions.

We already had a workable disease care system in the US in the past. Anyone who grew up in the 1950’s and 1960’s will remember a useful private system that was affordable. We still have a good disease care system, but it is now overpriced. To think that HR 3200 holds the magic key to improve a first rate disease care system that evolved over hundreds of years is fantasy.

One of the differences between the current disease management system in the USA, and the one that vintage USA had, is the cost. So, before we address any other issue about health, cost is the one that we must address.

When a common sense approach is taken, we will determine that we have a good disease management care system and what we really need is insurance reform. There is no need to restructure our disease management. The 93% percent of Americans who are happy with the current system should not have to give up what they have. The 7% who want health insurance, but cannot afford it, should be able to apply for government assistance. That would be a lot less expensive and less abusive to America than HR 3200.

The Game of Hot Air

Does anyone remember the income tax? Originally, it was a flat tax. Very few people were liable to pay it. The average rate was 1%, and it had a maximum rate of seven percent for the really rich folks.

Does anyone remember Social Security? Finally, it has been exposed as the greatest Madoff (formerly Ponzi) scheme that has ever known to man.

The game of dialectics is older than the Bible. One of the ways that it is used in politics is as follows: A game player comes up with an outrageous proposal. Everyone screams and riots because they do not like it. So, the group that initiated the proposal finds out what would be acceptable and they modify the proposal in a manner that would allow it to become law. After they have their foot in the door, they determine that the original need was too important to leave out. So, they revise the bill and get everything wanted. In the end, the public looses.

Don’t let them trick you into believing that they can perform magic by taking their overpriced and abusive rationed care system and magically convert it into a solution. If this bill passes, it would deny you the greatest health potential ever known to modern humanity. We would not the have the cash and the freedoms needed to fund the free market, which would be the source of major innovations in health enhancement.

The Real Story

America needs a true “health” care system, not a disease management system. As Andrew Weil, MD suggests, Americans must change the content of health care, not just the access. If we put the incentives on business to improve health rather than manage disease, everyone would be healthier, happier and richer. The costs of disease care would decline.

The real need is to train individuals to take care of themselves through choosing the right food and the right lifestyle. That is the only proven way to maximum health potential and it works. Dr. Raymond Francis noted that we have the technologies to help millions of baby boomers that are entering a phase of their lives when they will burden the disease care system. He said that we can fix it by teaching them how to get well and how to stay well using proven modern technology. .

So, let’s go back to the drawing board. There is a problem. We can solve the real problem. Let’s give the health care system back to the free market. That is the only way to have a sensible, sustainable, common sense and fiscally responsible approach.
