Thanks for your help.  Over the next few weeks, I will attempt to personally thank as many as I can remember that helped.  I will probably also miss some people to thank – so take this note as a general thank you.

New Jersey and America is in bad shape.  We do not have enough people to lead us out of this mess.  As a result, we will probably lose our country.

But it is not a lost cause yet.  That is why  I would ask everyone to constantly seek out the real patriots and do everything that you can do to support them.

If you are in my election District – NJ-14 – be sure to get out and vote for me. And remember.  You are allowed to vote for two Assembly candidates.  But if you vote for one instead of two- Gene Baldassari – you will put more power into your vote.  If everyone votes for two – I will need about 27,000 votes to win.  If everyone votes for one – I will be able to win with 18,000 votes.

New Jersey has a rich background in the support of liberty and freedom.

In the mid-1770’s, there were a group of patriots who risked their lives and made enormous sacrifices to oppose British rule. They were not afraid to use weapons to remove these foreign parasites from New Jersey. Those who did not fight worked extra jobs and sold various homemade products to fund the Revolution.

Patriots don’t steal from their Neighbors

The patriots of Colonial New Jersey hated taxes, especially property taxes. They were willing to lose everything they owned, even die, to clean up the perpetrators of these threats to liberty.

No one questioned the seriousness of their intentions when they arrested the British  Royal Governor of New Jersey and installed William Livingston as the first top State executive appointed by the people New Jersey.

These patriots were known as “Whigs”.

History Repeats Itself

233 years later, New Jersey is again faced with a major threat to liberty and freedom. We have the highest taxes in the nation. We have a job rate that is unacceptable. And we have elected “officials” that see nothing wrong with destroying our health and school freedoms.  These foreign ideas were not part of vintage New Jersey.

Good News

We can put New Jersey back in the hands of Citizens. Unlike 1774, when it was necessary to defend our land with guns and blood, no one needs to use gunpowder today.

All we need is to elect a new State Government. It is that simple. However, it is simple in concept but tough to implement. We have to convince voters that they really have the power to get rid of the monopoly. Every one of us has a lot of tough talking ahead of us to inform fellow citizens of the value of their votes.

As in 1774, we need to convince Citizens to hold bake sales, work part time jobs (if they can be found), and cut neighbors lawns to raise money to support candidates who are not attached to the idea that it is acceptable to steal money from fellow Citizens and then arrogantly waste it.

Citizens of the 14th District will win the Battle for Trenton should they realize the major opportunity that they have available in the 2009 Assembly race. In the Legislature, I would be only 1 in 120. But, I would be a booming voice outside the legislature as I scream bloody murder to the world and help  recruit NJ residents to the ranks of the patriots who want to return to a thriving New Jersey.

This is the goal of the Modern Whig Movement in New Jersey.

 There are four major reasons why your vote for Gene Baldassari in New Jersey’s 14th District would put power into your vote:

1. A Modern Whig Legislator would promote fresh, consumer-oriented ideas that do not normally see the insides of the State House. These ideas would resonate throughout New Jersey and America because the public would identify with the freedoms that are needed to rebuild America.

2. In the Legislature, the Modern Whig would not automatically vote for the “good ‘ole boy” team.  There would be no party pressures to accept “their” crazy ideas. Many of the legislative votes would be swing votes, giving more power to The Modern Whig. The only way that “they” will get a Modern Whig vote is when it is in the best interests of the general public.

3. Vote for One – Every voter is permitted to vote for two Assembly candidates. If you limit your vote to one candidate, especially the Modern Whig Party candidate, you will greatly increase your voting power. In short, the Republicans or Democrats would require about 36,000 votes to win. But the Modern Whig candidate can win with about 18,000 votes. A vote for one (instead of two) would double the power of your vote. This will be explained in more detail on this web site in the future.

4. America needs a viable political party that represents Citizens. It would be impossible to save America with the best of two devils. The Modern Whig Party is already preparing various candidates around America for next year’s (2010) Congressional contests. A win in NJ would put the Modern Whig Party on the map nationally. It would put the spotlight on the Modern Whig candidates in next year’s Congressional elections.

Don’t waste your vote.  This is the year when you really have a power choice.
